Isolation Orchestra explore the European roots music which informed the arts of this vital period at the dawning of the 20th Century, as refracted through the lens of 4 contemporary musicians navigating life in 21st century Tokyo.

Expect wild explosions of great power, giving way to moments of quiet reflection and tenderness. Music of hope and humanity, dancing in the shadow of a coming storm.

A new supergroup bringing together members of MUSIC for ISOLATION and FU-CHING-GIDO, with the addition of virtuoso accordionist Misako Matsumoto, Isolation Orchestra was formed at the request of actor and theatre director Kazuyoshi Kushida to perform music for the 2022 revival of his acclaimed production of Molière’s “Scapin the Schemer”. Isolation Orchestra proudly present their debut album.
